Stage Academy is an innovative and unique part-time performing arts school for 4 to 18 year olds. Committed to bringing out the full potential of every student we work exclusively with industry professional teachers to deliver our tailor made curriculum. We work tirelessly to deliver fast-moving, fun and professional performing arts whilst building self-confidence, teamwork, ambition and responsibility within our students so that whatever they go on to do will be a success!

We believe our staff deserve to be rewarded fairly and appropriately for doing a fantastic job. As such we offer an industry leading base rate of pay with additional termly performance and attendance based bonuses. We also offer a training wage and will NEVER ask you to attend a Stage Academy training event without paying you a training wage.

Getting off to a great start

When you first join Stage Academy we will give you all the support you need to do a brilliant job. This includes but is not limited to; paying for your DBS check if required, training you in the Stage Academy way (and paying you a training wage to do so) and providing NSPCC safeguarding training for all staff who come into contact with children.

Creative freedom

While we do provide themed resources for our Jrs (4-6) classes and an educational framework for our older students we also give our teachers the freedom to shape their classes creatively. With just the right balance of structure and freedom our teachers can enjoy a creatively fulfilling and rewarding time working with us.

Varied and exciting teaching day

Due to the unique structure of a Stage Academy day our teachers will find themselves teaching at least two disciplines and a variety of age groups as our students engage with our fast-moving curriculum. This keeps every day at work fresh and exciting as there is no need to rinse and repeat the same old lesson plan. We give you amazing support too!

Available roles

Teacher - Highgate North London

Stage Academy Highgate is seeking highly skilled and experienced performing arts teachers with the ability to teach at least two of our core disciplines (acting, singing and dancing). The ideal candidate will have previous teaching experience and either a degree level qualification in the performing arts or extensive experience within the industry. We are also keen to hear from teachers with other specialist skills which they could impart as part of our unique termly “Success” modules. Successful candidates will be motivated, passionate individuals with a love for inspiring young people aged from 4 to 18.

This role will involve a minimum of four teaching hours on Saturday mornings during term time from January 2020 with the possibility to pick up additional work.

Academy Assistant - Highgate North London

Stage Academy Highgate is seeking a passionate and engaging Academy Assistant to help with the general supervision and management of students as well as assisting our teaching staff to deliver world class performing arts tuition for 4 to 18 year olds. The ideal applicant will be caring, patient, understanding and a great at multitasking. You should have strong interpersonal skills, as you’ll be collaborating with teachers, working with students and talking to parents. This role is ideal for candidates who would like to gain valuable professional experience working within a performing arts school and would be suitable for current third year performing arts students or recent graduates.
