Cancel Your Membership

We are sorry to hear that you would like to cancel your child’s Stage Academy membership. Whatever the next step on their journey may be, we wish them all the best and hope to be able to welcome them back to Stage Academy soon.

To cancel a membership you must fill in the cancellation form below, we can only accept this form as notice to cancel.

Notice to cancel a Stage Academy membership must be given no later than the first class after half-term.

Notice given on or before the half-term deadline → membership ends at the end of the current term

Notice given after the half-term deadline → membership continues until the end of the next term

There are no mid-term cancellations.

Once your form is completed, your notice to cancel will be acknowledged via an automated confirmation email.

Within 5 working days, our finance team will follow up via email confirming your child’s final paid class date, and your final payment date(s) in line with the required notice period.

Payments will continue until all classes up to the end of your notice period have been fully paid for.

Within the calendar month that your final payment has been taken, you will receive a further confirmation email from our finance team confirming the cancellation is complete.

I understand that my payments will continue until all classes up to the end of my notice period have been fully paid for — even if my child’s final class takes place before my final payment date.

To make sure my cancellation notice stays valid, all monthly payments need to be up to date during your notice period. If a payment doesn’t go through and isn’t settled within 72 hours, my notice may pause until everything is brought up to date. In some cases, I may need to give notice again according to the usual half‑term deadline.

Once you final subscription payment for the term has been taken, we carry out a quick and transparent check:

We confirm the total subscription payments you’ve made since joining; and

We deduct the cost of all classes your child had the opportunity to attend (regardless of whether they attended or not) up to the end of your notice period. The cost per session is the monthly payment multiplied by 12 (the number of months in the year) and divided by 33 (the number of sessions in the year).

If you have overpaid, we’ll process a refund promptly.
If there is still an outstanding amount, we’ll take this as a final payment.

If a payment cannot be collected, your membership will remain active and monthly fees will continue until the balance is cleared.

Only once your final payment has been taken successfully will your membership be cancelled, you will receive a confirmation email by the end of calendar month in which your final payment was taken, confirming this has taken place.
