At Stage Academy we know that we can only ever be as good as the staff we hire to inspire and nurture our students on their journey to success. This is why we are committed to attracting and keeping the very best teachers possible to deliver our tailor-made curriculum in every single class.
Our teachers go through a thorough interview, referencing and training process before they can become part of the Stage Academy team and because we are not a franchise we can ensure every student receives the very best training possible and plenty of individual attention.
Everyone that works for Stage Academy has an Enhanced DBS check, safeguarding training the NSPCC and extensive teaching experience. Keep reading to find out more about our incredible team.
Andrew - Executive Principal
Venue Manager at Highgate (Thursdays and Saturdays), Finchley Central and Islington.
Andrew has a decade of experience working with young people of all ages and has performed professionally in the UK and overseas. He is also a graduate of the prestigious Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London.
Within the entertainment world Andrew has worked with brands such as TUI, P&O Cruises, Little Lion and Merlin Entertainments. He has also worked extensively within Immersive Theatre. As a teacher Andrew has managed several performing arts schools across London and has extensive experience in safeguarding, first aid, curriculum building and child engagement.
Andrew is passionate about bringing out the best in everyone at Stage Academy and he can’t wait to meet you at one of our classes soon.

Alicia - Vice Principal
Venue Manager at North Finchley, Crouch End and Hammersmith. Teacher at King Alfred School, Highgate and Islington.
Alicia is coming into her third year of working with Stage Academy and is thrilled to be continuing to her role as Vice Principal. Having perused her passion for teaching for almost a decade, Alicia has an extensive amount of experience working with children. She has safeguarding, first aid and EYFS qualifications and has been in managerial and teaching roles throughout her career. Having graduated from the prestigious Royal Holloway University of London with a BA(Hons) in English and Drama, she has valuable knowledge of the performing arts industry and thrives on passing it down to the younger generation.
Alongside teaching, Alicia has performed in various productions in the UK and overseas. Including plays at Edinburgh Fringe, Camden’s Ecetera Theatre and The Marriott Hotel in Cyprus. Most recently, she performed this summer as the protagonist in ‘The Sun will Rise’ as part of the Bitesize Festival in Hammersmith.
Alicia is looking forward to working for Stage Academy as a full time member of the team and can’t wait to see the students of Stage Academy shine as she works to bring positivity, creativity and knowledge to this fantastic company.

Miranda - Teacher
Teacher at North Finchley, Islington, Highgate and Finchley Central.
Miranda graduated from the Urdang Academy with a BA Hons in professional musical theatre and dance in 2017.
Credits in training include: Luisa Contini in “NINE”(Finsbury Old Town Hall) Penny Pingleton in “Hairspray” (Hackney Empire) and Kate in “Legally Blonde” (pleasance theatre). Theatre includes Nicki in an open air theatre production of “Shakers: Restirred” and lead vocalist/actor in “Fingask Follies” UK tour. Miranda originated the role of Kathryn in “Bones” performed for BBC Radio Drama as part of the ‘Contains Strong Language’ theatre and poetry festival.
In the last year Miranda has been working across many of the Stage Academy branches and has been working with SEND children in primary education, something she is very passionate about.
Sophie - Teacher
Teacher at Hammersmith.
Sophie has worked at Stage Academy Hammersmith since it opened back in 2020. Bounding out of bed early every Sunday is a good demonstration of how much she loves it!
Most recently Sophie was in the original cast of P&Os immersive production ‘Mission Control’ on board their new ship Arvia. She had an incredible time exploring the Caribbean and the Mediterranean by day and captaining the submarine by night.
Previous to this she performed in the UK Tour and West End run of David Walliams’ ‘Gangsta Granny’. A job which she absolutely loved and is proud to say was nominated for an Olivier Award.
Other credits include; ‘Horrible Histories – Horrible Christmas’ at the Lowry Theatre, Hedy Lamarr in Stylist Magazine’s ‘Visible Women’ and Jennifer Lee Prior in ‘Autopsy the Last hours of …’
Alongside acting Sophie works as an acting coach and facilitator in TV, film and Theatre.
Most recently she has been working as the acting coach on Sky Kids series ‘My Friend, Misty’ produced by Fearne Cotton to build mental health awareness and tools for kids.
Sophie is also a facilitator for various Theatres across London; including The Old Vic Theatre, Polka Theatre and Tramshed.
Sophie loves working with young people; spreading her passion for Drama and seeing them explore, embrace and express themselves.
Isabella - Teacher
Teacher at North Finchley, Islington and Finchley Central.
Isabella graduated from the Guildford School of Acting with a First Class Honours degree in 2020. Recently, she appeared in Agatha Christie’s ‘Witness For The Prosecution’ in the West End. Isabella has been teaching for the past 6 years alongside working professionally as an actress. Isabella tailors her classes to be a safe and creative space to nurture confidence and communication skills.
She is very excited to join the team and meet all of the talented students!
Joseph - Teacher
Teacher at Hammersmith.
Joseph, originally from Liverpool, trained in Musical Theatre at The Performance Preparation Academy (PPA) in Guildford.
Since graduating in 2017 he has performed internationally in shows such as The 12 Tenors and CATS and also back here in London where he joined the original cast of Glory Ride at the Charing Cross theatre.
Joseph has been apart of the Stage Academy team for a few years now and loves sharing his passion for performing with the students. Joseph teaches our Jrs classes as well as our Main School.
Beth - Teacher
Teacher at Crouch End.
Beth trained in Musical Theatre at Performance Preparation Academy in Guildford, graduating in 2019.
She has been teaching for almost ten years now across all disciplines and to all ages! Beth has been part of the Stage Academy team for almost two years now as well as previously teaching for a number of performing arts schools across London and after school clubs. She has also created original pieces for students to perform in West End theatres as well as teaching private singing tuition to adults and children.
Alongside her teaching, Beth is also a professional actress with credits including Tinkerbell (Peter Pan), Ellie the Elf (Santa’s Christmas Rescue), Connie (A Chorus Line), Mimiko (Zorba), Sharon (Made in Dagenham). Beth is also involved in a brand new workshop musical ‘Candor’, first produced during 2020 and soon to be released as a concept album on Spotify.
Beth absolutely adores teaching and helping students gain confidence and believe in themselves and can’t wait to continue working with Stage Academy!
