Stage Academy Pro

Launching in April 2023 at Stage Academy Highgate is our brand new class for existing students aged 8 and above who want to take their performance studies to the next level – Stage Academy Pro!

The intention of this class is to give a more in depth training to those students who wish to take their studies of the performing arts more seriously, and who may want to pursue the performing arts further in the future.

Students will have additional pieces in the Summer Show each year and will also perform a full length play or musical once a year in the Spring Term at a local theatre.

Stage Academy Pro launches on Saturday 29th April at Highgate Primary School, 1.45pm until 3.15pm for existing Stage Academy students (who attend any venue) aged 8+

The first session will be a free, informal group audition to ensure Stage Academy Pro is right for your child before we offer then a permanent place in class.

What to Expect

Classes will include…

– More in depth skills such as audition technique, sight reading, microphone technique and more
– The opportunity to feature in extra pieces within the Summer Show (over and above the usual)
– The opportunity to perform in one full length play or musical each year in a local venue
– Industry professional teachers and workshops

Stage Academy Pro takes place 30 weeks per year, 10 per term, at Highgate Primary School, N6 4ED on Saturdays, 1.45pm until 3.15pm and costs £35 per month (equivalent to £14 per session).

Due to the nature of Stage Academy Pro, commitment from the student with regular attendance is crucial. Two membership months of notice are required to cancel Stage Academy Pro and we reserve the right to cancel a students place due to regular non-attendance.

  • Please use the email address attached to your Stage Academy account.

  • Entry to the Stage Academy Pro class is subject to successfully completing a group audition session and at the sole discretion of the Stage Academy team. Following the group audition session you will receive an email letting you know if we are able to offer the student a space in the class, you will then have 72 hours to accept the space.

    Stage Academy Pro is an additional cost of £35 per month on your Stage Academy membership for 30 classes per year, this works out to £14 per class or £420 per year, sibling discount does not apply.

    Due to the nature of the Pro class and commitment required from students attending, the notice required to cancel is two full membership months.

To attend Stage Academy Pro the student must;

  • Be an existing student attending any Stage Academy venue on a weekly basis
  • Be at least 8 years old
  • First attend a free group audition session, after which the Stage Academy team will let you know if the student is ready to take on the challenge of Stage Academy Pro and offer them a space in the group

Entry to Stage Academy Pro is subject to the group audition session as it is important that we ensure students are ready for the exciting challenges offered by this extra class.

Stage Academy Pro is charged as an addition to your existing monthly membership and is an extra £35 per month.

There are 30 sessions per year (we avoid running Pro sessions during school half term where possible to help facilitate the consistent attendance expected), so the total cost for the year is £420 per student, which works out as £14 per session.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a sibling discount for Stage Academy Pro sessions.

Due to the nature of Stage Academy Pro, commitment from the student with regular attendance is crucial. Two membership months of notice are required to cancel Stage Academy Pro and we reserve the right to cancel a students place due to regular non-attendance or if the student isn’t showing commitment to the work they are doing in class rehearsals.
